There are many Russian martial arts. This site is devoted to just
one Russian Martial Art: The ROSS Training
System. ROSS is a Russian abbreviation for the Russian Native
System of Self-Defense. In Russian Martial Art - ROSS, the concept
of a "technique" is missing. Variations used on the basic movements
of ROSS derive from circumstances and conditions as they are
applied. This makes it possible to eliminate repetitive variations
so as to not give an attacker the ability to construct a
counterattack in advance. When in combat, basic motions are employed
in a continuous motion until the complete neutralization of the
assailant is achieved, each preceding motion turning into the
beginning of the subsequent one. There are eight directions of
training in the ROSS Training System: |
|
1. School of Russian Style Hand-to-Hand, Close Quarter Combat and
Survival |

3. School of Executive, Private Professional, and Close Protection
